The tables here are regularly completely overwritten by a bot using automatically gathered statistics from each wiki , so any edits made to individual entries won't last long , and are therefore usually unnecessary. If something is wrong with an entry other than simply having slightly outdated statistics, post about it on the talk page. The languages listed here are Wikipedias that have been created as separate subdomains of wikipedia.

The table includes closed Wikipedias whose domains still exist. Please visit the Wikimedia Incubator for new language versions known as "tests" that may become stand-alone wikis in the future. Just download and extract the program, then open up the folder and click on WikiTaxi. You can go ahead and read through or just skip down to the section that says Import the XML dump into a WikiTaxi database. If you downloaded WikiTaxi before you grabbed a dump from Wikipedia, they do provide some of the most popular dumps directly in the program. If you want to try out the entire process, I would suggest downloading the Simple English Wiki, since it will only take a few minutes to download to your computer.

After your selected dump is finished downloading make sure to save it somewhere you can find it , you can go back to the WikiTaxi folder and select the WikiTaxi Importer. It will ask you to find the dump file and the database file for the Wikipedia file you have downloaded. Browse your computer and locate the dump you just saved to your computer. It should load into that top section. Now for database, the walkthrough does not tell you how to designate this.

All you're really doing is selecting a place for WikiTaxi to place and later locate the Wikipedia information. Simply browse through your computer and find a place where you wish the database file to exist.

I just chose my desktop. Make sure you name the file or you will not be able to save the location and import. I named mine Wiki Dump 2, but it should have been named Wiki Dump 8, because that's how many times it took for me to get it all right!

We are almost there. Please note that we have rate limited downloaders and we are capping the number of per-ip connections to 2. This will help to ensure that everyone can access the files with reasonable download times.

Download this file type only. You can find the latest download in the upper left hand corner of the project page. In the XML dump file to import section, click on Browse and select the database file you downloaded in step one.

For the WikiTaxi database file section, click on Browse and select where you want the folder installed. Type in a name for the database to be created, and click on Save. Once the import is finished, click on the WikiTaxi.
